The site is on the A449, Ross Rd. leaving Ledbury and we have full use of all the facilities, including Function Suite, Bar and showers and toilets.

When you arrive please drive into the car park, and a marshal will guide you to your designated pitch.

Touring Trophies. Two awards are made annually for Cheltenham Caravans towed the greatest distance between consecutive Cheltenham Weekends.

  • The Presidents Cup for British Isles and Abroad.
  • The Rose bowl for British Isles only.

Obviously, this year will cover mileage between Kesteven 2019 and Ledbury 2021. Please hand a simple log of journeys and mileage to the Rally Marshal, John Marsland by 19:00 on the Friday Evening.

Photo Competition.

Any subject, but a Cheltenham Caravan must figure somewhere in the picture. Again entries to Rally Marshal by 19:00 on Friday, please.

This year as we are trying to celebrate what should have been our 70th last year, Saturday will have events occurring on the field and in the Pavilion Room.

We will also be pitching differently from usual in that vans will be pitched in year and model order.

There will be displays of memorabilia etc in the Pavilion rooms, Pride of ownership judging of any entered outfits, and a manoeuvring competition.

IT IS MOST IMPORTANT THAT ALL BOOKING FORMS ARE RECEIVED BY 30TH JUNE 2021.

We look forward to seeing you there, and if you tow with a classic car please try to bring it along.

71st Anniversary Rally Events Programme.

Tuesday 3rd. 

  • 09:00 to 11:00 Committee arrive to complete setting-up.
  • 12:00 < Rally attendees arrive.
  • 19:30. Welcome Meal in Clubhouse. Bar open. Meals will be exchanged for the coloured vouchers in your Rally pack.

Wednesday 4th. 

  • Free day for socialising etc. Possible Boules in Evening if weather good.

Thursday 5th. 

Free Day.

  • 18:00. Communal BBQ weather permitting. Bring own food and tables/chairs and own BBQs. PLEASE BUY DRINKS FROM THE CLUB BAR.
  • 20:00. Quiz night in the bar with our very own Norma England. You will be allocated into teams upon entering the bar. Please take note that this is one of the most popular and fiercely contested events. There may be blood on the carpet!!!!!! Lovely prizes for the winning team.

Friday 6th. 

  • 10:30. Guided walk from the site. Meet at the Flagpole.
  • 15:30. Technical Forum in the bar, with Alan Grimley, Alasdair Robb, and John and Jenny Marsland. PLEASE BUY DRINKS FROM THE BAR. This is the opportunity to ask every question you ever had about Cheltenhams, as the combined experience in the room will have carried out every possible task. Followed by Auntie Wainwright sale. This is the chance to sell all those bits and pieces you have no further use for. There will be a selection of Club Merchandise and a small representative sample of some of the club's spares stock.
  • 19:30. CLUB A.G.M IN THE CLUBHOUSE. This is the chance to say anything you like ,within reason, and to elect the Officers and Committee to carry the club forward. Nominations must be with the Secretary by 19:30 Thursday. See extra sheet for explanation of proposing, voting etc.

Saturday 7th. 

  • Press and visitors' day. Photo competition set up in the bar. Each photo must feature part of a Cheltenham somewhere in the shot. No limit on entries. The winner will be judged by all members. Please display photos by 11:00. Good prize for winning entry.
  • Memorabilia display in the clubhouse. Bring any items you wish to show.
  • Bar lunches available 12:00 to 14:00 in the bar.
  • 11:00 Show vans/ Towcars /Classic cars on display. Pride of Ownership judging.
  • Please see separate notes regarding this competition . Good prize for the winner.
  • 14:00 Caravan Manouvering competition. CARAVAN PROVIDED FOR ENTRANTS. Good prize for the winner.
  • 19:00 Gala Dinner in the Clubhouse. Canapes and Fizz at 19:00. Followed by four courses and Tea/Coffee. Dress from any period, post-50s, the only requirement is tasteful.

Sunday 8th.

  • 10:00 Act of Worship in Clubhouse led by Ann Howard.
  • 11:00 Cake cutting, prize giving and award of Touring Trophies, please see notes regarding touring logs.
  • 11:45 First meeting of the new committee.
  • 15:00 Field cleared.

Some very important points.

It is vital that all dogs are kept on a short lead and exercised away from the field. This is particularly important as junior teams frequently use the playing and training areas.

In case of fire in a van, Turn off gas, evacuate to safety, Raise the alarm and call the emergency services.
EMERGENCY RENDEZVOUS POINT IS THE CAR PARK IN FRONT OF THE CLUBHOUSE.
