Well,  Rally No.2 of 2024 has been and gone and what a great one it was.

Brades Acre is situated in Tilshead on the road across the beautiful unspoilt Salisbury Plain (we have our Army to thank for that as most of Salisbury Plain is used for training)  Must admit this was a doddle of a rally for me to get too as it took me somewhere in the region of 22 minutes to get from home to site.  We seem to have synchronised our arrival  well as 3 of us arrived within minutes of each other, and had to wait a couple of minutes for Mike & Sheena to park the Digue up, having arrived just a few minutes before our little gaggle.   We arrived in glorious sunshine and it stayed beautifully sunny and warm for the whole of the weekend.

Our crowd filled the whole of the main part of this beautiful kept site - we all had lovely pitches with electric and both hard standing and grass, much appreciated by us and our eclectic array of caravans from the 1950s to the 80s, the beautiful Bedford CF camper and the Talbot motorhomes

Saturday half the site dispersed to see the local sights of the beautiful nearby city of Salisbury and the lovely market town of Devizes. The other half of us slouched around in the sun chatting just enjoying the sunshine

Our attempts to see the Northern Lights from what would have appeared the perfect vantage point were thwarted - none of us saw anything!

Ann arranged a Euro themed quiz which as always went down well, also a sweepstake on the Eurovision (won by yours truly)
A Successful rally really enjoyed by us all
